I would love to be an ARC reader for your book. I've always wanted to be a reader of manuscripts. However, I lack the experience. I can only state that I love to read and this opportunity was interesting. If you have a problem finding a reader, I would love to try it.
I would love to be an ARC reader for your book. I love the Lord, I love His Word and I love allegories that point people to Jesus and the truth of His Word. I very much enjoy reading and though I have not reviewed books, I used to critique and review screenplays for my literary agent some years ago. There may be others more qualified, but should you choose me I would consider it an honor and pleasure. Very much looking forward to it and will not have a problem completing it in 2 weeks.
I would love to be an ARC Reader for your book, Mike! There are several reasons I believe I would be a great choice to do so:
1) I love to read.
2) I have excellent skills, both in grammar and in the analyzation/interpretation of various types of literature.
3) Although I do not have job experience in being an ARC Reader, I do have a great deal of time, as I am currently retired. Furthermore, and most importantly, I love the Lord and it is a joy for me to read the works of others, such as yourself, who also love Him!
4) Lastly, I am extremely conscientious and meticulous, and, if chosen, I will view it as an honour that I will undertake with both diligence and excitement!
Thank you for the opportunity to apply and to read your work!
Hi Brenda, thank you for your enthusiastic response! It is always wonderful to meet people who love the Lord Jesus. Surely He is worthy of our love, since He has loved us so greatly.
This work is Christian fiction, so unlike anything at Setting Captives Free. If you're good with that genre, I'll send you the book and you can get started. You can DM me with your email if you would like and I'll email it to you.
It would actually be great because we just finished replanning for the Latin II course and are waiting to start for a few weeks, so I would have the time to do it.
I would love to proof your book. Please reach out. I am proficient in English grammar and write Latin curriculum for LUOA. I have often thought about writing my own story and plan to do that in the future so reading yours would be helpful in preparing me for that undertaking. God uses our brokenness to show us our need for a Savior. He gives grace upon grace until we see Him in all His glory and want to follow Him.
I donβt have first hand experience proofreading books, but I have been a teacher since 1996 and homeschooled both of my boys all the way through highschool. I have proofread countless papers, and I write the biblical and historical portions of each lesson in addition to the Latin content. I have found writing Christian curriculum one of my most rewarding endeavors.
Can Ward and I speak with you and Jodie sometime concerning our son? We have some questions on how best to handle our current situation in love. Most people we talk to donβt understand what we are dealing with, and well meaning people lack grace. However, there is a balance. Just let me know if you can chat sometime. We value your counsel.
Hi Shannon, yes we can talk and pray with you, just have to find a time that works for us all. Would a Sunday afternoon work for you? We can't do it this coming Sunday but the 16th works for us, how about you?
Hi Shannon, great to hear from you! It's good to see how involved you've been in raising your boys; that is time well spent to honor the Lord in raising them up in the way they should go.
If you want to DM your email address to me I'll send you the book that way. Please remember, this is Christian fiction (which will be obvious to you), and so unlike any writings at Setting Captives Free. Jesus told parables that were not mere exposition of the Torah, but rather stories that taught truth. That's what this is.
Let me know where to send the book.
Thank you for your willingness to take on this project.

It's not in printed for yet, that's coming in July Lord willing; if you provide your email address I'll email you the PDF.
I have not received your manuscript yet. I have two weeks before I start LUOA, so I am excited to edit it while I read it.

Hi Shannon,
I just sent the book to your email address, the subject of the email is "The Broken Bridge".
Thank you.
